The Kaneland John Shields Parent Teacher Organization (KSS-PTO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of all Kaneland John Shields Elementary Students by providing fun and educational programs and activities during the school year. All teachers and administrators at the school, as well as all parents and guardians of John Shields students, comprise our voting membership.
We rely on our members to help with the many programs and activities the Kaneland John Shield PTO sponsors. We are striving to make our programs family oriented, educational and environmentally conscious. The PTO welcomes and encourages all members to attend our monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Teacher's Lounge at John Shields Elementary School.
